Tadasana — Mountain Pose

BeginnerAxial Extension Pelvic Neutralization
60s

The foundation of all standing poses. A grounding posture that aligns the spine, builds awareness, and prepares the body for practice.

How to perform

Stand with feet hip-width apart, weight evenly distributed. Lengthen the spine, gently draw the tailbone down, and lift the crown of the head upward. Relax the shoulders away from the ears and let the arms hang naturally. Soften the gaze and breathe steadily.

Breathing

Breathe slowly and deeply through the nose. Inhale to lengthen the spine; exhale to root down through the feet.

Benefits

Improves posture, strengthens thighs and ankles, increases spinal awareness, and calms the mind.
